Index Analysis Never Completes
entered stored procedure, selected "Get Actual Plan". When I select the "Index Analysis" tab the tool just spins, never completes.
We have an issue logged about this (#28023) that has been fixed in 11.0.84 – it occurs when the target table has partitioning.
Please update Plan Explorer to the latest version, and the issue should go away.
I would probably contact support to find out why you had to manually seek an update, though; Plan Explorer should have found the latest version and offered it to you.
